Product information "1-pin DUPONT Connector"

1-pin DUPONT connectors are typically used for all internal motherboard sockets with a 2.54 mm grid. You can also get the DUPONT crimp terminals here at MDPC-X.

Our SMALL size cable sleeves go over the 1-pin DUPONT connectors. You will typically use the 1-pin DUPONT connectors as internal frontpanel power / reset / LED connectors, but can also use them beautifully on regular fan connectors found on the motherboard. DUPONT connectors and DUPONT crimp terminals are also used in many other non-PC applications, like flipper automats, RC-models etc.

The 1-pin DUPONT connectors are typically used with 26AWG (0.22 mm²) hookup wires - and of course with our more advanced 23AWG (0.25 mm²) hookup wire.

It is very easy to remove wires from DUPONT connectors:

You will only need a small screwdriver, scissor, knife or similar small device with a thin tip.
Carefully pull up the small "flap" on the top of the DUPONT connector.
While the "flap" is pulled up, you pull out the wire. Very simple!
